10 Things Around Your House You Can Transform into Wall Art
September 14, 2011
I saw this photo at OhDeeDoh yesterday, and I fell in love. They just popped some doll clothes in simple frames, added printed paper as the backdrop, and then arranged them on the wall in a cluster. Genius DIY wall art, right? It got me thinking about other things you can find around the house that would make a nice collection in a nursery or a kid’s room, and here’s what I have so far.
2. Children’s book covers
3. CD covers
4. Baby socks and shoes
5. Scraps of baby’s favorite onesies, bibs, blanket, etc.
6. LEGO, Hot Wheels, Barbie dolls or any small toy
7. Seashells, leaves or rocks from a family trip
9. Colorful wrapping paper
10. And of course, you can never go wrong with your child’s artwork or photos.
