While I may not be wishing for some of the things that a new Mom has to contend with (swollen breasts, dirty diapers, lack of sleep), I am definitely coveting one of the parenting staples that have become so popular over the last few years – the diaper bag!
I recently made a new discovery to add to the list of diaper bags I’d be proud (as a nonparental type) to carry…added to the Fleurville Mothership, Diaper Dude’s camo bag, Oi Oi’s dot messenger and Sally Spicer’s cowboy print is my new favourite by Sarah Mullins Design, the Ben.
I so want the chocolate brown bag with blue piping and stitching. The side pockets would hold my keys, wallet and cell phone, and I could remove the changing pad inside to make room for my laptop. There would still be space for extras like my makeup bag, selection of Moleskine journals and address book, and maybe even a protein bar and bottle of water.
This bag would definitely stand up to the abuse I would heave on it while tossing it into the back seat of my car or kicking it under my desk…which might just explain why I am not a Mom yet.
Get the Ben as well as its sister bag the Luna, at sarahmullinsdesign.com.
