Beauty Find: Color Veil
My friend Laura is very pale, and blonde — so much so that her nickname in junior high was “snow flake.”
Laura has ruddy undertones, and she’s also not big on a lot of makeup. I recently lent her a tube of a product called “Color Veil,” in Peaches and Cream, and she’s still raving.
Apparently this stuff gives a fabulous glow, and does not give ‘San Andreas’ chin, which is what she calls the color line between makeup on the face and the neck and chin — a common makeup mistake when it comes to mismatched foundation. Color Veil is not a foundation, but a shimmery cream that’s applied very sparingly. It looks fabulous on darker skins, too — or the recently self tanned.
