SheFinds News: Celebrity Blue Jeans

The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is hosting an online auction of autographed jeans from some of pop culture’s hottest celebs. Winning bids from
the 3rd Annual Celebrity Blue Jeans for Genes Auction will benefit NHF, a non-profit organization dedicated to education, advocacy, and research to help people with bleeding and clotting disorders. The 10-day auction will be held November 19 – 29, 2005 at eBay.com.
This year, celebrities including Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tim McGraw, Wyclef Jean, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron, Elijah Woods, Hugh Jackman, Tyra Banks and many more have generously donated their signed designer denim straight from their personal closets. There’s also a pair from Walk The Line star Reese Witherspoon, I point to her because I have written about several celeb charity auctions and Reese’s name is always on the list. I love her that much more when I see how consistently she donates her name (and her wardrobe) to a benefit worthy causes. Go Reese!

The starting bid for most of these jeans is $50.00 and my innate auction instinct tells me you can pick up these star-signed jeans for a song. And frankly, I’m really intrigued and would like to see if I could fit Mary-Kate’s over my right forearm.
