Trend Alert: The (Smoky) Eyes Have It!

Despite the popularity of colorful eye liners and shadows, heavily lined and dark, smoky eyes are still hot. Arabian beauties have been doing this for centuries. To get this look you’ll need a great kohl eye pencil, blending brush, a steady hand and a little practice. In a variation on the theme, models with smoldering looks a la 60s supermodel Twiggy made their way down fall/winter Chanel runways without, um, batting an eyelash. The Twiggy look is best acheived with liquid eyeliner, but it’s also too dramatic for the daytime. So easy does it with the rest of your makeup. Opt for natural cheek color tones and nude or light colored lips.
