What: Bottega Veneta Bags

Why: Bottega Veneta’s simple woven bags are already a favorite among luxe-fashion lovers. And rightfully so: Meticulously handcrafted, they’re like understated works of art. Plus, warm weather and woven bags are a good combination—i.e. the feminine Scalloped Trim Bag ($1,680) would complement any spring/summer dress. The woven leather shoulder bag with gold trim ($2,380) isn’t a bad choice, either. More important: the new line of fine jewelry—lots of chunky chains—for the upcoming fall season. Weavework is clearly BV’s thing (you can see it on the shoes, too) because these pieces use the same painstaking process. And since an actual human being works on each one, no two are the same. Well, at $20,000 to $100,000 a pop, they better be unique.
