A Find: Vera Wang Beaded Satin Dress

What: Vera Wang Beaded Satin dressicon

Why: The old guideline about not wearing white or black to a wedding went bye-bye a long time ago. But one rule remains steadfast: you can’t show up the bride. This dress is on the verge of breaking that one. The Vera Wang Beaded Satin dressicon carries only one rule with it: ‘tude required. Make that two rules. You’ll need the body for it also. Granted, this isn’t a dress for everybody, which is what I like about it. You aren’t liable to run into another woman wearing the same cutaway, low back, halter dress. It has a head-turning tie at the neck that trails to the hips, too. And in platinum (or navy) satin with a sparkling beaded drop waist, it isn’t for every wedding either. It’s strictly for formal affairs or after-five nuptials.
