The best shampoo I have ever tried is Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo. Not only is it really wonderful for my hair, but it smells fabulous and makes an excellent addition to a hot, relaxing bath. As with all Paul Mitchell products, this isn’t on the basic drugstore price scale. But completely worth it if you have dry or coarse hair. We found it on Amazon.com for as low as $13.50.
The best leave-in conditioner is also from Paul Mitchell. The Conditioner moisturizes and protects. It tames frizz and leaves curls natural and hair soft. Again amazon.com beats salon prices with different sizes ranging from $7.99 to 24.00.

The best bargain conditioner for dry hair is Dove Intense Conditioner. Not only does this leave my hair feeling great, but it also helps with dry scalp issues thanks to Dove’s famous moisturizer. This is especially great for people who can’t/don’t wash their hair every day because of their hair type. The whole Dove hair care line is available at Drugstore.com with prices as low as $3.99.
