A Special Find: Jewelry for a Cause

Running through December 6, National Eating Disorders Association is hosting its second annual Every BODY is Beautiful Online Auction. Proceeds from this event will be used by the organization for its ongoing efforts in the education and treatment of eating disorders. Sadly, the recent deaths of models Ana Carolina Reston and Luisel Ramos from the health complications brought on by eating disorders underscore the need for the work done by this group.

During her own battle with an eating disorder, artist Karin Collins began creating pendants out of spoons as a form of therapy. Three of her unique SpoonFed Art creations are up for bidding including this one of a kind pendant featuring the NEDA logo.

The auction features over 90 items including a VIP package for four to attend a taping of MTV’s TRL, a Super Bowl Extravaganza for two and a Marc Jacobs “Venetia” handbag.
