One newswire service reports that Fendi bags were sold for as little as $508.25, 45% off the retail price. Hold on- don’t go running off to your local discount warehouse. These Fendi’s are as authentic as that Prada you bought in that backroom in Chinatown. Faux Fendi’s you say? Sold by a mass retailer?
While we won’t nitpick the ethics behind Wal-Mart’s empire, we do know they have a yen to hit up the luxe market. A lawsuit for unspecified damages from LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton after making millions selling their counterfeit goods is not the way to break in. Wal-Mart has yet to comment.
