Beauty News: Est?e Lauder Goes Haute Couture

Coming in May, high fashion and classic cosmetics will collide when Tom Ford releases his revamped version of the famed Azurée collection from Estée Lauder. The former Gucci guru’s forthcoming line (the limited edition Amber Nude collection is selling now) will be packaged in Lauder’s original signature shade of aqua blue with an exaggerated gold insignia. The Azurée collection is designed for the worldly jet-setter- ideal for any tropical vacation. In total, there are 25 pieces in the spring collection. The centerpieces are three color families — Azurée, Cap Bronzée and St. Tropée — each with two lip colors, priced at $22 each; a $28.50 cheek glow, and a $30 eye duo. Azurée is built around peach tones with a splash of coral. Cap Bronzée’s color palette is warm tones of sand, while St. Tropée’s colors are mauve-based.
