SheFinds News: Kate Moss Makes Designer Play

Perhaps in a pitch for the concept of all press being good press, Kate Moss is stirring up positive buzz these days for her announcement of an upcoming clothing line. Understanding the power of her (brand) name, Moss is planning to launch a line based on her years of experience in the business, the production of which she will 100% oversee. The supermodel cites influences such as Stella McCartney and says the line will carry either some form of her name or of her daughter Lila’s name. No word yet on whether the clothing line will actually be created in sizes larger than 2. Surely the ready-to-wear version of the line will include skinnier-than-thou denim, everything luxe, and as the muse of designers from the houses of Cavalli and Chanel- perhaps the flow of inspiration has changed directions and we’ll see influences abound.

Certainly inspiration has abounded for Ms. Moss since she is no longer under the influence.
