SheFinds Poll: Shorts and Heels

At Pier 1′s Loft 21 soiree in NYC’s ever-trendy West Village, I spotted numerous women strutting their stuff in cuffed shorts and platforms. To me, this look walks the fine line between “summer chic” and “street walker.” Carmen Electra and Nicky Hilton may be able to pull of this trend, but they padlock their fridges after 7 p.m. (or so we hear). Will this look translate as well on real women with real curves? Is this a style that you would consider wearing to a barbecue or an informal dinner party?
