Get the Look: Ruth La Fela (NYT) points out what I think is the most disappointing aspect of the film- the designer wardrobe does not reflect today’s runway stars. Flaunted are classic (see: staid) names like Prada, Gucci, Pucci, D&G, and Christian Dior.

Missing from the costumes are designers I see pepper another “spoof” on the fashion media, MTV’s The Hills. (It’s the spin-off of Laguna Beach- LC is an intern at Teen Vogue. It’s meant to be reality TV.)

Devil spawned trend or not, brown is a delicious color that has been intermixed with summer white. Brown will transition into fall with the changing of the leaves.
