Trend Alert: You Say Hairband, I Say Headband…

Whatever you like to call them, headbands are back. You can spot them on trendster starlets Jessica Alba, Jess Simpson, Britney, and Eva Longoria. See above: Beyonce and Lindsey Lohan seem to be sporting the exact same hold-back-a-bad-hair-day helper. Bands dotted the fall runways of high-end designers, like Diane von Furstenberg. Headbands save the day by adding a dash of sophistication (or a least a dash of something that looks like you tried- but not too hard) to casual outfits and messy ponytails. How can you rock the headband without resembling your 4th grade class photo? Think chunky styles, polished materials, and luxe patterns.
