SheFinds Asks You: Are You a Shoe-aholic?

One of my dreams for when I live in a house (rather than a shoebox) is to have a big closet in which to organize my sixty plus pairs of shoes instead of rotating my ever-growing collection in and out of storage. Yes, you read right. I am a bona fide shoe addict with a propensity for picking up a new pair every time a sale strikes. Do I actually wear all of these shoes? Not really. I go through weeks where I'll only wear my favorite pair of the moment leaving the rest to gather dust.

But according to Styledash, this is not an uncommon phenomenon. The average woman owns roughly 19 pairs of shoes and rarely wears them on a regular basis. Yikes! That's what you might call shoe neglect, letting all that fabulous footwear go to waste.

We're not sure what the cure is, or if there even is one. Perhaps only shopping for designer shoes so that you're restricted to buying only one pair a season?

We want to know, though, how many pairs of shoes do you own? Does your significant other tsk at your overzealous shoe shopping or do you exercise restraint by buying only what you need when you need it? How do you think women can avoid this problem?

Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
