Beauty Find: Baths fit for a Queen

image

Cleopatra was famed, among other things, for her smooth, sensual skin. Her secret was the multiple milk baths she supposedly took. Cleopatara may not have known the scientific reasoning behind her lustrous skin, milk has lactic acid, which is a natural material that dissolves the glue that holds skin cells together, she just knew that it worked. Milk really does do a body good, from the inside and out! Serendipity’s handcrafted Body Bliss Milk Bath is a luxurious way to get the outside benefits for yourself — it has powdered milk, buttermilk and goats milk and comes in a variety of gentle scents. It comes in such yummy scents like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, that you won’t even miss the cookies. If those scents are a little too basic for your royal palette, you can customize your own, like green tea, lavender rosemary or chocolate mint. It also comes in a retro style plastic milk bottle, perfect packaging for gifts.

Amen, sister! I’m just a wink past 29 & this milk bath actually makes me believe my lies about my age. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about soaking myself in something so lush b/c I’m not a frou-frou type, but the silky skin doesn’t lie (unlike me!).

I second that. If you like the milk bath, like I do, you should try the sugar scrubs and soaps. Everything the Soap Chicks purvey is wonderful for all the senses. I live in Colorado, and this time of year my skin is like that of an alligator! The only remedy I have found has been Serendipity Soap Company’s products!
