Beauty Find: Smooth Skin for Weeks

What: Philips Norelco Satinelle ICE Epilator & Lady Shaver HP 6492

Why: I remember a few years ago when the most purchased—and most returned—Christmas present was an epilator for women. So imagine my hesitation at testing this epilator/shaver combo, even if at least 10 years have passed and technology has probably—and hopefully—gotten better.

I won’t lie, it wasn’t painless. But it didn’t really hurt anymore than getting a bikini wax does either. It pulls the hairs out by the root leaving skin smooth for weeks and the skin cooler helps ease the pulling sensation. It won’t fully replace my shaving/waxing routine, but it’s earned its place for a quick fix!
