Why: Back in high school, we recall the ‘glitter fad’. It seemed like every product you bought back then had glitter. There were glitter lotions, glitter rubs, glitter in cosmetics and glitter-inspired hair binders. And, just in case that wasn’t enough, there was good-old fashioned glitter to dump in your hair.

It drove our mothers crazy.

There was glitter on the seats and at the dinner table in our food. There was glitter in the shower and on the floor. There was even glitter on the dog. Alas, mom made us leave the glitter behind.
