Normally quiet about television viewing preferences, this writer is completely excited for the premiere of Season Four of The Hills, which recently premiered on MTV. So many questions: will Lauren and Heidi ever be BFF again? Will Whitney get the job at Teen Vogue and be Lauren’s boss this season? We need answers, people!
Whether you get into the characters or not, there is one facet of the show that never disappoints: the clothes. These girls have incredible style and look amazing in almost every shot. Lauren is the star and her taste particularly stands out, with her knack for trapeze and draped dresses that can seemingly flatter all figures. Pretty soon, you’ll be able to dress just like Lauren when her line of clothes, The Lauren Conrad Collection, debuts on September 15th. We have faith in this collection because unlike other celebrity “designers,” Lauren actually attends classes at the Fashion Institute in LA. What a novel concept: a celebrity clothing line actually designed by a celebrity.
You can’t buy the gorgeous LBD (little black dress) on Lauren but you can steal her style by grabbing this Alexia Admor Bubble Lacquer Dress ($248). With its gathered bust, halter neck and bubbled skirt, it’s got that Hollywood Hills style without the Rodeo Drive price tag.
Hot style and soap-y drama? We're in!
