Fashion for a Cause: Stuart Weitzman Celebrity Shoe Auction

imageI always knew there was a reason I liked Stuart Weitzman. His fabulous shoes are certainly reason enough, but it's always refreshing when fashion houses use their "powers" for good. Case in point: Stuart Weitzman's Seventh Annual Shoe Auction benefiting ovarian cancer research. For the month of September, which happens to be Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, the luxury designer will be auctioning off celebrity-designed shoes on stuartweitzmancelebrityauction.com. Celebs like Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Ripa, Hayden Pantierre, and Vanessa Williams tried their hand at designing for the cause. Most of the styles are actually pretty wearable, but at $200 and up we recommend investing in a pair for display purposes only.

We here at SheFinds also believe in the importance of awareness around this crucial women's issue, so everyday during the month of September check out the blog twice daily (11am and 3pm) for exclusive offers. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
