Question: (From one of our UK readers) I'm looking for some fashionable brogue shoe boots with a heel (not too high though). Any suggestions?
Answer: Well, 'brogue' isn't a fashion term we use too much over on this side of the pond, but as far as we can tell (for our readers who don't know), a brogue shoe is one with with a heavy oxford-style that features pinked and perforated detailing and is inspired by old Irishmen work boots.
We have found this interesting pair from Anthropologie, with a crinkled leather finish, a drawstring closure at the top, pinked seam details, and short little stacked heels (as requested).
Below are some more killer brogued finds. We hope our attempt to help did not get lost in translation.
