Let It All Hang Out While Holding It In

There was a time when a garment with a tricky neckline meant you had to go without (GASP!) a bra. Thankfully, that time has passed as more and more companies are churning out undergarments that leave us covered even when our clothes don't. And this couldn't have happened a moment too soon, since some of the hottest clothes of the seasons come with untraditional neck lines. This week we released our guide to underwear that's right for your shape; here are a few tops where you can put your new knowledge to use.

1 The Butterfly Sleeve Top from Couleur de Rose ($78) is a brilliant purple tunic with a low-cut neckline. The babydoll style waist flatters any body type, but the low-cut top requires the right bra, like the Marie Jo Avero Plunge Multiway Bra.

2. The sweater dress is one of fall's biggest trends and they come in every shape and style imaginable. This body-skimming Urban Outfitters Sweater Dress ($150) looks great but could show the world some flaws you'd rather hide. While many pile on the layers in colder weather, you can strip them down with confidence by pairing a body-shaper with this simple dress.

3. Tyra Banks may have recently complained about her back fat, but you don't have to let the world know about yours. Match this gorgeous sequined Suzianne top ($495) from Theory with right camisole or bra, and you can sport a sexy evening look without a hint of worry.

4. Tops aren't the only items needing assistance. Seven Jeans' new Ginger Pant is simply sensational. The smooth lines, the wide leg, the mid-weight jersey material–everything about this pant is perfect. But think how much more better it would look with a smoothed-out butt, hips and thighs. We're just sayin'!
