All the magic was at hand on the 79th Annual Academy Awards red carpet, or at least in close proximity. The diamond bracelet was THE accessory of the night and we’re not talking a delicate tennis bracelet. Oh no…we’re talking baubles of the hefty carat variety. Anne Hathaway, declaring on the red carpet that she was wearing every single diamond she could find, wore Van Cleef and Arpels diamond bracelets with more than 100 carats. Nicole Kidman, not to be outdone, displayed her own two extraordinary rough diamond cuffs designed by L’wren Scott. The cuffs contained 187 diamonds, with Nicole’s wrists totaling a massive 375 carats.
