The Best Hair Products to Fight the Frizz?

imageRight now my hair is dry and frizzy, but in 90 days it’ll be humid and beyond out of control. Here are my top products for sleek hair — and yes, I mix them. Looking for the 5th pick? We want to get it from you! Post your fave hair products in the comments section below and feel free to comment on the items I’ve chosen here, too.

1. In the shower: Sunsilk Beyond Brunette Color Boosticon because I want my color to be ultra-shiny after I banish the frizz. They also have a version for blondes.

2. Before the blow dry: Kerastase’s Oleo Relax serum, the caviar of hair gunk.

3. After the blowout, but before the iron: I use Terax Gloss, not on the scalp because it’s a little heavy, but a bit everywhere else to flatten the strays.

4. Seal it in with the CHI Nano Ceramic Flat Iron: It’s a cute baby blue rather than dull black and has a nifty digital monitor that tells you when it’s hot. Plus it’s supposed to use technology to eliminate bacteria to “promote a germ-free zone.” No germy hair on this head.

5. What are your favorite hair products? Post them below.

To soften, defrizz, and style unruly hair th Philip B. Creme of the Crop Hair Finishing Creme is the BEST!

The Kiehls Intensive Repairateur Deep Conditioning Pak works great for dry chemically treated hair.

And any shampoo by AVEDA, they all work well and smell great, especially “shampure”

I love Frederick Fekkai’s finishing gloss. It is the best to keep my mane looking shiny!

My favorite conditioner is Davines Vegetarian Miracle. Sounds crazy, but works amazing. In fact their whole line (especially the new color line) is great.

For deep conditioning, also try apivita avocado products. you can buy them in single dosage packets or a whole box. Amazing too!

of course – phytodefrisant has proven to provide more than a decade of scary frizzy hair! I also have added the hot pink kerastase line in my “cocktail” along with the phyto as it adds shine AND spf. And I just saw that Jen Aniston uses it as well. And wouldn’t we all do whatever it took to have HER hair!!

Ditto for Aveda! I love the Be Curly line for my unruly hair, especially the shampoo and curl enhancer.

I MUST MUST agree with lakshmi on Frederick Fekkai’s finishing gloss!!! Its the best stuff for straightening enrully curly hair. I have used eveything known to man on my hair and this is the best. I use it before I bow dry or use my chi iron. It is amazing.

If you’re worried about the condition of your hair, and you want to keep it straight, forget the electric irons – at least for a few months at a time.
Try Escova Progress, Keratin Hair Straightener from Brazil.
I’ve been using it for about a year – applying it myself at home, once every 3 or 4 months – and I have to say, the results are fabulous.
