SheFinds Asks: Would You Copy Brit’s Style?
Britney Spears sure has been wearing her Primp four leaf clover hoodie a lot lately. Chances are, she got it at Lisa Kline, the shop now famous for being the scene of Britney's on-camera denial of her sister's pregnancy. Lisa Kline sells Primp's patterned sweatshirts and PJ sets (you can score a Britney-esque clover thermal for $98), along with a lot of other really cute duds. Carrie Underwood is reportedly a fan of Lisa Kline's Ella Moss goods, and Kat McPhee digs the jewel toned Rory Beca tunics Lisa sells.
With more than 50 designer brands under her belt, an easy-to-navigate website that also sells trendy accessories and craveable handbags, and celeb endorsements like Britney's, Lisa Kline seems to have it all. Or does she? Some designers have forbidden certain bad-news starlets from sporting their wares, regarding connections with tabloid fodder as their brands' potential kiss of death. Many high-end clothiers don't abide by the "no publicity is bad publicity" mantra, preferring instead to keep the paparazzi's flashbulbs from illuminating their creations.
What do you think? Do you seek out the clothing you see Paris, Lindsay and Brit wearing in tabloid photos (even if they're photos of prison releases, rehab sabbaticals or sketchy parenting decisions)? Or do you find it difficult to shop where you know certain celebutantes with less-than-stellar style and general decision-making reputations have gone before you? Take our poll, or let us know where you stand in the comments section.
