SheFinds Asks You: Heels vs. Flats?
As women, we are loyal to a great number of things: men, makeup, hairstylists, brand names — the list goes on. But what about when it comes to footwear?
I know a plenty of women who won't wear anything but heels. It's a bit of a mystery to me how they're able to comfortably maneuver down the aisles of the grocery store in pumps, but they do. Donatella Versace, for example, happens to be of this particular variety. "I prefer women in high heels…I think people walk better and more feminine. Flats make you walk duck-footed," the fashion icon says.
On the other hand, there are those who simply cannot pass up the comfort of a shoe without a heel. Flats no longer mean frumpy and boring, so they do provide a viable alternative to high heels. So much so in fact, that ballet flats are poised to steal the stiletto's spotlight — or arguably already have.
I'll admit I have no fidelity when it comes to shoes. Depending on my mood — and how much I have to walk that day — when it comes to choosing footwear it's a toss up. What about you? Are you a heels loyalist or have you fallen for the flats?
