No, you heard it right here. The package arrived in the office and we were sort of thinking the same thing ourselves. A press-on pedicure?
For the woman who has no time on her hands (or her feet) there is the Express On Toe Nail system by Kiss. Each nail comes with very sticky glue attached to the back. When under the gun and you can’t get to the salon, you just reach down, apply the nail to the applicable toe and with a press of the finger, you have a pedicured toenail. The nails can be applied for just the evening or will stay on for up to three days.
We’ve had people tell us that they wore them to a black tie function and got tons of compliments on their cute pedicure. We’re dying to know: what do you think? Would you slap them on in a mad dash to a function when your feet are less than fab? Is this the return of the 80’s press-on craze again?
Don’t be shy. We’re listening! Tell us your thoughts in the comments section.

You’ve got me curious! I might be willing to try this out in between pedicure weeks….I’ll let you know how it works out! ;)
I think these are cheesey and disgusting! don’t you dare wear them!
I just worry about the things popping off and ripping away half my toe nail. I mean, that’s what happened with press-on nails, so how would it differ on your toes? Ow…it hurts just thinking about it.
I have been pretty sceptical of these, but just may have to try it!
I tried ones similar to these and LOVE THEM – mine had regular ‘glue’ and stayed on pretty well – paid only $6 and looks like a professional pedicure w/out the time or cost.
These are trashy, gross, and disgusting. I can’t believe people actually WEAR them! Toenails are NOT meant to be LONG! Pedicures, fine, if you don’t want to pay for them to get done, do it yourself. But these are just TOO cheesey.
No offense Melsy, but I haven’t seen ONE person that they look good on. I know you trim them, I’m not dumb…I just personally don’t think they look good. But, we’re both entitled to our opinions…to each their own. :)
I recently had to have my toenail removed and am looking for something to put on while my new nail grows out. If it doesn’t have glue it may work for special occassions.
Must admit I’m pretty skeptical but I may be willing to try it, just to see.. If I looked down and there were 3 or 2 missing on each foot, I would die of embarassement!!!
Well I have been wearing these flats and I have notice that they left an dark mark on my toes. I was wonder do they have any kind of cream that would remove the dark marks cause now my feet does not look right with that ugly mark.
I have been bewildered by this phenomenon myself. What is the point?? I have seen women in the beauty salon getting sets put on their toes, not because they are missing toenails, just because they want them to be long. I don’t think this is attractive, toe nails should be short and neat. Are they looking to climb trees or scale buildings?
How ironic that this is my first visit to your site & this was the first topic I saw! I recently tried the press on pedicure (however, I used a different product that required nail glue.), and I have to say I am a fan!! I even used a pre-polished pink color & I have gotten soo many compliments on my cute toes! Love it!
In reference to Kita’s comment, FYI, you trim them to fit your toenail & you don’t wear them long like your fingernails, silly! I have gotten so many compliements on my “great pedi” & no one has a clue that they are glued on.
As far as them ripping off 1/2 the toenail when they come off, I have not experienced that problem at all. I’ve been wearing them (re-applying when necessary) for about a month now.
Come on ladies! Don’t we deserve the real thing, an actual pedicure? The time spent on us, the pampering, the relaxation… I cannot imagine foregoing this for some press on faux nails.
Don’t skip the full pedicure! Besides, are we forgetting the atention to detail, cuticles, rough skin, leg massage, foot massage… I know we all need that!
I used the french manicure press-on toenails with these really cute special occasion sandals for a wedding. They were great. They did not look tacky as I thought they would. I applied them myself for $5 since my natural nails are very short and needed some “extension.” I would not wear them on a regular basis because I have a busy life. The press-on nails are great too. They are better than the acrylics that cost over $40, destroys your nail bed, and expose you to all kinds of microbes.
I like those plastic-framed eyeglasses that Oprah had on last week on her show. Who makes them?
well, some of you say they look bad.
and that we deserve the full pedi.
but some of us can really afford to keep getting them done!
I had to have my big toenail removed and the big toenail on my other foot is malformed so I was always self conscious of my feet. I tried the glue on toenails and absolutely loved them. They look neat, clean and for the first time I’m proud of my feet in sandals.
I tried these for the first time and LOVE THEM!!! Pedicures are starting to be a little expensive in NYC so I saw these at Duane Reade and figure — Hey why not…the box was only $5.99, words cannot express how happy I am with the product. My box looked a little different and instead of sticky backed nails, my box came with actual nail glue. It worked like a charm. I have a big wedding to go to and this is perfect. They do not recommend keeping them on for more than 7 days. I have had mine on now for 3 days and they look AMAZING! Sooooo happy I did this.
I know I deserve a real pedicure, but who isn’t cutting back these days? For me, luxuries like mani/pedis were the first to go. I’m excited about trying these as I’m 7 months pregnant and can no longer comfortably reach my toes long enough to give myself a pedicure. I plan on using them for a special occasion so I won’t be wearing them regularly. Hope they do the trick!
Finally! An answer to the question: WHAT’S EVEN MORE TRAILER THAN STICK-ON FINGERNAILS!
i use them in a pinch and i love them… all my friends went out and got them after they saw mine… :)
