What: The new Elizabeth and James collection by the Olsen twins.
Why: Mary Kate and Ashley have done it again. Earlier this year, the twins introduced the chic fashion label, The Row, which featured an array of sleek dresses and trendy T-shirts, however, most pieces in The Row collection — which went for $250 and up — were well out of the average gal's price range. Enter Elizabeth and James (named for the twins’ younger siblings): a new line of contemporary sportswear available at more modest prices.
The line features an of-the-moment Metallic Sequined Dress, mini dresses in colors like sugar plum and lipstick pink and a more adventurous Glam Jacket made from white dyed goat fur. There is also an adorable Bonfire plaid shirt that harkens back to the girl's dumpster dressing days. Though the pieces are still slightly pricey, I'd wager they're worth the splurge, given the sleek, yet modern lines of the twins' first collection. Best of all, you can purchase the pieces in pre-styled outfits, all of which shadow the effortless chic of the Olsen's daily look.
