For those of you who would rather not wear leather or adorn yourself in animal-derived products, a new accessory line has arrived on the scene. Designer and animal rights activist, Stella McCartney, launched a vegan-friendly line in January, in which she uses man-made and natural materials to create looks that even an omnivore can appreciate.
“I’m not trying to take over the world,†said McCartney, who has long refused to work with animal skins, “but I do want to show that accessories can be made from a more ethical viewpoint and be sexy and cool.â€
