SheFinds Tip of the Day: Beware of a Possible Denim Takeover

 

Just say it isn’t so. Models clad in full denim garb were seen strutting down the runways in Paris recently, and at a Chanel show no less. Although Lagerfeld managed to somehow make blue jean outfits decorated with frayed tweed yarn look sort of chic, this is definitely not a look that should be attempted by the average shopper. We’ve seen a few celebrities reach for their inner cowboys to inspire their red carpet attire — remember Justin and Britney? But now that it has been seen on the runway, other celebrities might start getting crazy denim ideas. Is this going to become a trend? Will I have to start walking to the subway in overalls with a flannel shirt tied around my waist? Please don’t let that happen.
