Store Review: LoveMyShoes.com

One thing I've learned from surfing the Net as much as I do is that one web site in every category usually rises to the top as the "go to" site. Want good deals on great shoes, from casual to couture? Go to Zappos.com. But Zappos may be getting some competition from LoveMyShoes.com, also an etailer of not only shoes, but also accessories. LoveMyShoes.com has women's sizes 5 to 11 and carries the brands to have but for 20-25 percent less than department store and boutique prices. Additional perks: Although it's not quite yet at Zappos level (It has 150 brands and more than 300,000 pairs of shoes in stock compared to the 500 brands and nearly 2 million pairs Zappos sells), I found some encouraging deals! A pair of Charles David Shoes that sells for $301 on Zappos is going for $250 on LoveMyShoes.com. I randomly compared two other pairs, including J Lo sandals, and LoveMyShoes had better deals on those also. However, if you find a shoe for a lower price, Zappos promises to refund 110 percent of the difference. LoveMyShoes.com has Live Operators available for questions. AND in addition to the Search by Brand, Size, Color and Price function, there's a Search By Fabric/Material subfunction. Then again, Zappos has searches by heel height, color, and style. Update – Seems their customer service may have taken a nosedive since our review. Buyer beware and read the comments below.

    I noticed your review of LoveMyShoes.com and thought you should know they are not competent at sending the product once you buy it. we ordered shoes on March 13th, and have yet to receive them. Their customer service has ignored our email inquiries, and you can’t even leave a msg. on either of their phone numbers. When I inquired w/UPS, I was told that LoveMyShoes had not even shipped the shoes. When you go on BizRate, you’ll see lots of similar complaints about this site.

    You should be aware that this online store has a terrible return/credit/exchange policy, and rude customer service. They sent the wrong item and will not exchange it. The customer service said “to their mind, the issue is resolved” so they will not deal with me.If you look at other websites about this, you will see many other complaints about them.

    I just recieved an order from lovemyshoes.com on yesterday evening that I ordered last week. I got the order in a decent amount of time but, one bootie was missing the zipper tab to pull the zipper up and down. The other was there and intact. My daughters red flower sandals that I ordered still has the mishadling device on it. Why would that be shipped with the shoe and how could that be missed? Who knows. All I know is that I am stuck with shoes she can not wear and a brand new bootie that I have to spend more money to get fitted with a new tassel. Beware! I will not order from them again.
