If we are obsessed with our clothes, looks, age, weight etc., our daughters will learn to do it too. Fashion, looking and feeling good is supposed to be fun, not life or death or a statement of ones worth. With role models who demonstrate healthy attitudes and balance, our girls won't be as susceptible to media/advertising "onslaught." It’s not just the beauty industry. If we are obsessed with our clothes, looks, age, weight etc., our daughters will learn to do it too. Fashion, looking and feeling good is supposed to be fun, not life or death or a statement of ones worth.
