Jessica Simpson suffered an unfortunate but common issue plaguing any woman brave enough to go without straps. At the Kennedy Center Honors last December, Jessica Simpson was seen using all of her strength to hold up a black strapless dress that seemed destined to hit the floor before the song "9 to 5" was over. Unable to keep the dress up and remember all the words to the song simultaneously, Jessica quit mid-song and went tearing off the stage in tears in front of her idol, Dolly Parton.
