Is there really a secret to looking gorgeous? Some may argue that Angelina Jolie has found it and is keeping those impossibly plump lips shut. But thankfully, Cosmo has leaked some crucial info in its new book, Cosmo's Sexiest Beauty Secrets: The Ultimate Guide To Looking Gorgeous. Known for its unabashedly racy content, Cosmo has compiled tips on how to pull off a sex kitten aesthetic, from romp-in-the-hay hair to smoldering eyes. And this must be your lucky week, because we're giving away copies of the book to 5 winners. How's that for sexy.

And, the gracious editors have shared some insider tips from the book with SheFinds. (Note: All below product picks are SheFinds suggestions, and not those of Cosmo.)

1. Shrink a zit instantly by dabbing it with toner then placing an ice cube (wrapped in tissue) on the bump for one minute. Use a spot-treatment product before dotting on concealer. Clinique's Advanced Concealer ($14) will cover blemishes instantly.

2. Get the shiniest hair imaginable by using an at-home clear gloss treatment, which will infuse your strands with potent polishers like silicone, jojoba oil, and vitamin E. Protect against frizz while you're at it with Citre Shine Laminating Anti-Frizz Serum ($6.89).

3. Make your eyes look larger by rimming the inside of your lids with white liner. Then define your upper and lower lashes with a charcoal liner and finish with three coats of black mascara. We highly recommend CoverGirl LashBlast in Very Black ($6.88).

4. Fake the look of fuller lips by blending a thin line of liquid highlighter along your cupid’s bow so light will bounce off it and play up this curvy area. Eternally the master of cosmetic artistry, Kevyn Aucoin's liquid highlighter ($22) will undoubtedly fill out your lips.

5. Get the exact lip color you see in the tube. Create a neutral base by dotting your lips with foundation before applying a nude or flesh-tone lipstick like NARS Honolulu Honey ($24).

Get sexy wavy beach hair without going to the beach by mixing sea salt with water and spritzing it all over semi-dry hair

  2. lorchick says:

pump up your ends if you don’t have time for a cut by rubbing baby oil in your hair before showering, then shampoo, condition, shampoo, condition. And blowdry afterwards.

  3. Jenn says:

Every few days in the shower, I take one of those body buffer things, put body wash in it and then exfoliate the heck out of my body. It’s the only thing that helps me get a close shave and when I’m done I can sorta see how much dead skin I get off. That sounds horribly gross but it makes my skin soft =)

  4. MMalloy says:

When it’s time to fatten up your lashes, close your eyes and with a powder brush lightly dust your eyelashes with loose powder (mineral veils work great for this). Apply a coat of mascara on top and then just blend in any excess powder below your lashes. Voila! Vampy eyelashes without the undereye smears.

  5. lise says:

I mix a crushed aspirin with visine to put on blemishes. it helps to reduce redness and growth.

  6. Diane says:

When I don’t have the time to wash, blow dry/straighten my hair, I wash just the top 1/3 layer of my hair. Starting from above my ears, I draw my fingers up and around till they meet. This captures the hair I wash in the sink. The rest of my hair I pull back in a low ponytail so that it doesn’t get wet.

  7. NBag says:

I make a homemade face mask using turmeric and ground almonds–it never fails to make my skin soft and glow-y.

  8. dori says:

in the winter, it seems i have a runny nose every other week. to avoid drying out the skin around my nose and prevent it from peeling, i use a tube of chapstick and put it on and around my nose. it doesn’t show nor does it look oily. just make sure you mark it so you don’t use it on your lips!

  9. Jasmeet says:

For me it’s the eyes. I use black eyeliner and brown eyeshadow to achieve the smoky eye. it instantly changes my look, making me party-ready in a couple of minutes.

  10. Yogibarrett says:

I use Queen Helene Mint Julep mask every week. I used to have really dry and sensitive skin. The plus side was no zits. My skin has changed over the years, and now I’ll get zits in the tzone if i’m not careful. I use the mask to keep my skin just as smooth as it used to be!

  11. Sara says:

I can’t live without my 1/2 inch curling iron to make playful waves!
