Lately I’ve gotten the feeling that Marc Jacobs, king of wearable whimsy, is getting a little too whimsical (unless you’re a very tall, very thin 16-year old). His jackets, though, always strike just the right note.
Marc Jacobs showed this double-breasted coat ($285, was $570) on the runway – but the buttons on this version are even cuter.
A classic wool peacoat ($215, was $430) in fire-engine red will pop against winter neutrals.
This coat’s ($460.60, was $658) asymmetrical cut and plaid pattern make it a good addition to a wardrobe of classics.

For at least an hour now, I have been trying to place an order on Editors Closet, and their website won’t let me. And, to add insult to injury, there is no way to call them and the e-mail contact does not respond. What a nightmare!!!!
