What: Peep-toe not-quite-flats from Steve Madden, $69.95
Why: I’m powerless against cute shoes that cost less than $75. For my seasonal shoe fix, Steve Madden usually does the trick. The line runs the gamut from over-the-top to demure, which just guarantees there’s something reasonably priced for everyone. The company’s Katelin flat, left, has a leather-lined linen upper and just a shade of a heel- it's conservative enough for the office but still light enough to satisfy my urge for a spring purchase. The Tea Yellow Leather flat, right, which also sports a quarter-inch heel, capitalizes on the happy yellow apparel trend. The peep-toe on each ensures your pedicure won’t go to waste.
