FInally, Control Top Tights You Can Breathe In
Growing up I remember hating tights. They were always falling down, cutting off my circulation, ripping when I pulled them up, or getting runs up the back of the leg. I don't think I owned a single pair from age 12 to 23. Then came the real world, you know, corporate dress codes that included button-down shirts, pencil skirts, and gulp, tights.
Thanks to Bare Necessities, I've found that tights can not only sexy, but a girl's best friend. I never knew how tights could actually flatten my tummy pouch in a high waisted skirt or smooth out my love handles in a silky wrap dress.
Below are two pairs in particular I now swear by:
Slipping on a pair of Spanx Under the Heel Body Shaping Tight ($32) was like getting a vacation from watching what I eat. And control top body shaping wonders are so strong, your time of the month bloating doesn't stand a chance. Plus, they're completely opaque. I've sported them both under the heel with boots and even as leggings.
The DKNY Control Top Metal Luxe Opaque Tights ($12.37) give a smooth, glossy silhouette and their no-waistband design eliminates lines and buldges. These tights come in black, carbon (shiny grey), and saddle (shiny brown seen here).
Bare Necessities also offers amazing discounts on a variety of hosiery brands:
La Perla 20 Denier Pantyhose are now 85% off ($10, originally $68)
30% off Juicy Couture Footless Tights ($29, originally $42)
HUE Hipster Opaque Tights: Buy 2 for $20 ($12.50 each)
