Apparently, the 8 oz bottle is over the limit. I was taking the red eye from San Diego to NY and left the contact solution in my purse. The flight was delayed on the runway of course and I ended up in NY 12 hours later with my lenses stuck to my eyeballs and looking like something from the sci fi channel.

so far the only thing i have had confiscated is a bottle of water that i bought at their airport. i did get a lecture the last time i flew that all my things were to be in a quart size bag instead of a gallon size. they let me keep everything though.

my favorite lipgloss(dessert lip treat in plumping strawberry)security lady said to either throw it away or put it inside my luggage. I went back to my luggage, but it was gone already, so I hid in a secret pocket space in my bag, when I went thru security again the lady didn’t check me again. I think some of these people at security do this on purpose and keep what they like, and I don’t think is fair to lose expensive or valuable items that have special meanings.

My boyfriend and I dated over 2 years long distance. Needless to say I’ve done a lot of traveling. I’ve had everything confiscated from bottles of unopened water, mac lipgloss, and a BRAND NEW bottle of Dolce and Gabbana light blue. So now, I’m over frantic of what I pack and these travel items would be perfect for me!

TSA at Kahului Airport on Maui took away my can of Cheez Whiz! I normally don’t travel with a can of liquid cheese but my mother-in-law gave it to me and I just stuck it in my bag and forgot it when I went to the airport. My son was disappointed.

My teeny-weeny cuticle scissors were removed from my bag which had been placed on the belt to be CHECKED. They opened up the bag and removed my scissors and confiscated them even though the bag was to have been checked in the belly of the plane and there was no way I could have gotten to them.
