Question: I adore the new show 'Pushing Daisies' (ABC), and am on a quest to find out where the costume designers get Chuck's clothes (or if they make them specifically for her). I love the red, black, and white dress from the 2nd episode, the yellow dress and jacket from episode 3, and the green dress with a gold stripe from episode 5. Any help on where I might be able to find these items would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
Answer: We've scoured the web for some of Chuck's great looks, and we've managed to come up with a few great finds that are either close matches or inspired by her fabulous '50s retro style.
Free People's Deco-Pauge Printed Tunic is an exact match!
INC International Concepts Crochet-Overlay Dress from Macy's is almost identical to Chuck's kitschy frock.
A textured wool coat by Milly has that same vintage vibe and a similar princess collar. Get it at Net-a-Porter.
Take this Isaac Mizrahi for Target Trapunto Dress and pair it with a VELVET Light-Weight Knit Cardigan at YOOX.
For a more modern take on Chuck's pink shirtdress, try the Donna Ricco Taffeta Halter from Nordstrom.
Need help finding something? Tell us about it on the boards, and we'll get on the case.
Be sure to tune in to 'Pushing Daisies' Wednesdays at 8/7c on ABC – the fashion is really fun, you'll love it.
