More T-Shirt And Less Porn Please, American Apparel
I'm not a prude. I bought Jenna Jameson's book. Porn, sexually suggestive advertising, all that… I can deal with it.
However, there are things that really creep me out. For instance, does anyone else feel like Gossip Girl is a show that revolves around pedophilia? According to the premise of the show, you're supposed to believe that those are high schoolers - so you're totally watching two minors have underage sex and thinking, "that's hot." True, they're actually adults… but seriously… I find it creepy. Following Gossip Girl on my skeezy list is Girls Gone Wild. And, after that, is American Apparel's Dov Charney and his new porny ad campaign. If I wanted to dress like a porn star, I'd own lucite heels already. I don't. So, until they stop advertising models simulating foreplay in unattractive cotton boyshorts, American Apparel is joining Girls Gone Wild and Gossip Girl on my boycott list.
But, now that I'm taking a stance on perviness, where will I get my overpriced t-shirts? Try Nation Ltd or T Luxury for some American Apparel t-shirt alternatives.
