Rachel Zoe Project: Floods Of Water And Tears But Not A Drop Of Eye Makeup Remover
It’s time for our weekly review of The Rachel Zoe Project, a little reality show we like to armchair quarterback every week.
It’s awards season for fashion’s petite styling princess and her hyper-sensitive assistants, and she’s got to deal with floods – actual flooding in her office where tens of thousands of dollars of borrowed designer gowns are accidentally dip-dyed in rain water and the resulting deluge of tears as the extremely Type A Taylor lays into the new guy, Brad. We get to see that Rachel is actually a sensitive kind of person, but we can’t seem to stop staring at her eye makeup. How does someone who’s worked in fashion this long not understand that the makeup mirror has an actual setting called “Daylight”?
As a stylist, we do respect her opinion on clothes (most of the time) and this episode, we’re coveting her black leather studded tote bag. We took inspiration from this bag, mixed it in with a little fall fashion shopping savvy, and decided on this gorgeous Elliott Lucca Estella II Medium Tote ($318) for our own wardrobes.
We’ll keep watching to see if a massive flood of eye makeup remover happens to hit Rachel, but in the meantime, grab this tote for your own wardrobes.
