I’m in a wedding in September, and after two other bride-chosen footwear disasters this summer, I’ve finally found the products that will help me get through the ceremony-photo-reception triathalon. Oh, did I mention that this time around I’m wearing a totally fierce pair of four-inch strappy heels by Charles David?
To pad the ball of my foot through the hours of standing followed by dancing, I’m putting Airplus Ball-of-Foot cushions ($5) and Heel Liners ($5) into my shoes. The clear cushions look and feel like you’re actually walking on air.
And to prevent a Miss USA like fall, I’ll put Apara Grippy Steps ($8) on the soles. One side is a textured rubber surface that grips even the slickest floors and the other adheres to the sole of your shoe.
Now, if only there was something I could do about that dress…
