Stylish Tasers To The Rescue

Why: At the Consumer Electronics Show this month, a new taser was unveiled proving that even tekkies want to be more fashion forward. The Taser C2 debuted in three new colors – pink, red, and leopard print – along with a case that doubles as an MP3 player. Apparently, the creators are trying to appeal to their female consumers and think that by camouflaging a deadly weapon with cutesy hues, we'll be tempted to arm ourselves with their product. Although the taser is only legal in 43 states, the new design has created a universal stir. And the addition of the MP3 player has caused some confusion as to why we'd want to pump our tunes through something that could pump volts of electricity through us. But if it prompts more women to get protected, I suppose I could tolerate the leopard print.
