What: I Heart Tripods

Why: I don't trust people who dislike dogs. They're furry bundles of loyalty, sweetness, and devotion. And, as a person who can't watch Animal Police on Animal Planet without sobbing and donating funds she doesn't have to rescue organizations, I fell in love with Tripod Charity Gear. 

The cause: every year about 6,000 dogs lose a leg due to bone cancer, leaving their owners to often face around $10,000 in medical bills. I Heart Tripods was started by a woman who couldn't say no to the surgery and care her pooch needed. However, she needed a creative way to overcome the overwhelming debt it left her with. So, she and a friend created I Heart Tripods shirts and bags.

After she paid off her own bills, she continued selling the adorable t-shirts and totes as a way to help other people undergoing the same crisis of funds. So, you can get a funny, cute t-shirt and help fellow animal lovers save the furrier members of their family in the process!  Save the Tripods!
