The Date May Stink, But The Dress Is A Keeper

I recently went on a date where the guy, an aspiring actor, spent more time checking out the bartender's ass than listening to what I was saying. I figured that it didn't bode well for his future career that he couldn't feign interest better. Of course, he was interested in sharing his script idea…which…frankly…stunk. I think the date went downhill after that.

"So, yeah, they totally kidnap the Robert Redford character and make him watch their movie."

"Uh huh… and then what happens?"

"Uh, well, he watches it."

"And that's it?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, well, sounds cool. Want another beer?"
You know those things called plot/climax/resolution? Yeah, well, he didn't.

I figure the only thing that could have saved the date was tequila shots. And then picking up another guy.

So I've been looking for some cute going out clothes online. Therefore I can pick up guys who A)are not actors and B)have more on their resume than being a suspect on Law & Order. Because, you know, lately I've been realizing that my pleasing personality isn't as alluring as exposed thigh or side-boob. Figured I'd share my picks.

This studded shift dress by Alice & Olivia ($484) would stop him dead in his tracks. Pair with leggings or a cropped blazer for those breezy spring nights.

Who cares if you're taller than the guy you pick up? Show him who's boss by rocking these platform python pumps from Report Signature ($204).

If the pickings are slim at the bar, you can always entertain yourself by showing off your rockstar splatter bangle ($6.80). Guys may come and go, but fab accessories are forever.
