Lipstick Jungle’s Wendy May Be A Mom, But Those Are Not Mom Jeans

Since Wendy lost her job as a film studio bigwig, her look has become more laid-back; she’s still put-together and classy, but jeans have replaced trousers and pencil skirts.

This week, we saw Wendy at her son’s soccer game, trick-or-treating with the kids, lounging at home and…at another soccer game. All perfectly appropriate occasions for denim.

Both pairs of James Jeans that Wendy wore in last night’s episode have a higher rise – not up-to-the-armpits, super-trendy high, but high enough to avoid the dreaded muffin top.

The Hunter High Rise Straight Leg (left, $180) is a solid everyday option, with a slightly distressed wash and just a bit of stretch. For a dressier look, wear the Humphrey High Rise Flare Leg Jean ($176) with something silky or embellished, and a pair of platform pumps.
