My official favorite shoe company ever, United Nude, which is responsible for stunning architectural creations, has outdone themselves in their Spring 2008 collection.

What: The Cup, a classic elegant mule that is actually three shoes in one.

Why: The Cup is striking not for its shape but for its detachable heel back.

Each pair comes with three different plastic heel cups, which vary in color, height, and texture, allowing for endless stylish combinations. Just take the green (or black or white) cup off, slide the gold (or cream or olive) one up over the heel, attach the ankle strap, and voilà–a completely new shoe!
