Hidden Platform Boots Play Mind Games With Your Feet – We Love That

Back when I thought the Frederick’s of Hollywood catalog was only for naughty girls, I’d stare wide-eyed at Freddy’s six-inch Lucite platform heels. I wasn’t that type of girl, I thought. But now, at age none-of-your-business, I realize maybe I am.  Sky-high heels are already the norm, but it's the cleverly concealed risers that seem to be popping up in boot styles that caught our attention recently. By raising the toe box a bit higher, it’s like walking in a shorter heel, even though boots like these Jennie Booties ($198) or Belize Boots ($195) are anything but short.  And by concealing the platform inside a boot, it's even harder to tell there is one.
