Trend Alert: Louboutin’s Not The Only One After Women’s Soles

Almost by accident and because of a nearby bottle of nail polish, Christian Louboutin created the infamous red-soled high heel and turned the dull, tread-worn base of the shoe into a status statement from Manhattan to Hollywood. It even spawned manicure trends. 

 

Now other designers are copying his moves but adding a twist of their own. According to TrendHunter, Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci has created boots with the signature Pucci pattern on the sole. 

    

And American rocker chic Betsey Johnson has a line with hot pink floral soles.
